Yes. As a Registered Psychologist, my services are covered in whole or in part by most extended benefits and Employee and Family Assistance Plans (EFAPs). After each session, I provide a detailed PDF receipt with all necessary information for insurance reimbursement.
If you have extended health benefits, check the following with your provider:
Total annual coverage for psychological services
Percentage of cost reimbursed
Start date of your benefits year (often January 1, but this can vary)
Counselling services may also qualify for coverage through health spending accounts and are considered tax-deductible medical expenses.

"Menla" means Medicine Buddha in Tibetan. I chose this name with the wish that this healing archetype would bless my work and benefit my clients. The wave-like swoosh in my logo symbolizes the integration of Eastern and Western therapeutic approaches, the synchronizing of body and mind, and the healing of past wounds through present awareness.
